There is a hard limit of 255 on IOS. As 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g are half duplex protocol, the actual limit is determined by the bandwidth requirement of the applications. Just like in the old days with 10M half duplex ethernet, 30+ users was considered as a limit on 10M half duplex ethernet.30-60 users are practical limit.
