I have a live deployment scenario for Cisco AP ( AIR-AP1832I-D-K9 ). Considering its Cisco Mobility Express feature please add your suggestions on deployment. Its my first deployment for Mobility Express. However got to know its very much similar to Aruba iAP (Where 1 AP can act as Master / WLC). Here are specification:
1. There are total 18 APs of same model.
2. These will be distributed among 2 different locations (80 Kms aways with 1Gig dedicated WAN link)
3. We have few 3850 switches which can act as MC/MA. (But as far as I know there will be a limitation that these APs shall be directly connected which i don't like)
4. the document says "The Cisco Mobility Express solution provides most of the features of a WLC." So which features are not covered or limitation if any ? We don't have expansion plan in near future.
