loading flash directory

I downloaded a new IOS which comes down as a zip file on my windows machine. I've placed the zipped file, and the unzipped file which contains the directory I need to load on my aironet 1200. Why am I only able to copy tftp flash a file, and not a directory? How do I get the directory, which contains all the html stuff, to my flash directory?

Use the "archive" command. It'll move the file, un-tar (unzip) the file, and put the contents where they belong.

use the force reboot switch, remember to shut down the radios before doing the updates.

From the # prompt, start with an archive ? to get the command train.

It worked, thank you. I needed to add .tar to the end of the file..
