Using the WLC 2500, a 3750 and an AP3702i. Broadcast SSID is checked but never shows up in the air?

Status=Enable

Profile = Local-LEAP

SSID = Local-LEAP

Interface-Group =VLAN2

NAS-ID=NONE

L2 Security=WAP+WPA2

AES

802.1x Key management is checked

AAA Servers

Local EAP Authentication enabled checked

EAP Profile Name = Local-LEAP

PEAP authentication works fine.

Thanks in advance

I created a new AP group when I started testing with PEAP. However I think you may have found it. I don't see the LEAP profile in there. Just added it. The AP rebooted and I now see the SSID.

Thanks Flavio good eye!

Hi

If the WLAN is enabled and broadcast SSID is enabled then there´s no alternative, it has to show up.

The first thing I need to ask is if the AP is fully joined on the WLC? How many AP does the WLC has? It happen with all APs?

 Can you check that?

Flavio,

Thank you for your response. This is in my test environment with one AP 3702i,and one WLC 2504. My other SSID's are broadcasting ie. PEAP, PSK, Open etc. I have worked with wireless 802.1x authentication for many years for Aruba, so I believe I have everything configured correctly. The version of code on the WLC is 8.3.112.0.

Thanks

Alright, for security just avoid using tkip.

 As you have only one AP probably you are using default group, right?

 If you are using AP group you need to add the SSID on it.

 What about network 892.11a and b. They are enabled under WIRELESS tab?

Take a look on AP radius as well.

It is all I can recall for now.
