Hi All,
I'm running Version 2.2.2.5 DNAC, maps have been uploaded and WLC (9800-40) added, AP's have been positioned according to survey and the heatmaps look good.
In the view options section I have the below setting, however I don't seem to be see any clients?
Any suggestions on how to view clients on a map?
Cheers,

Are you able to see the Clients in Cat 9800 WLC (GUI)
have you configfured Netconf ?
DNAC --> assurance --> health --> clients (you see them ?)
next to view option , Click Data and clients :

Hi BB,
Yes 9800-40 is configured for NetConf and I can see clients associated to AP's in the WLC.
DNAC assurance is working and I can 360 to a client. E.G client onboarding below:
While in Design>Network Hierarchy - map>click>date filters displayed below
No clients are displayed and the filter STATUS is fixed?

select AP , Data and filter clients

Makes no difference
I assumed the wireless clients "name" would be displayed? Only gives a MAC address. What's the point in view options?
Also if I search for one of the MAC's it finds it but doesn't display it on the map?
What is the slid tab for to enable client clusters for, seems to make no difference as well?

Just found this which may be the reason why clients are not being shown.
How do we position clients? Through DNA Spaces/CMX or should this be available as a view in only DNAC?

You can not position the clients, you can only postion AP, are you sure you AP postioned as expected with site survey ?

Again that's the point, obviously by the nature of wireless mobility you wouldn't manually position clients. But Spaces/CMX would potentially position clients based on triangulated data.
So to view a client on a map do I need Spaces/CMX??..

DNA spaces automatically calculate that information based on the user positioned.
