Hi,
I try to change the AP mode of my LWAPP 1242 from local to bridge mode. But when the AP reboots it never associates with the controller, i have to reset it manually.
I have the same issue with a LWAPP 1142.
I tried to modify the AP mode configuration through the controller CLI but it's the same behaviour, AP never associates.
Is there any particular parameter or configuration to perform before changing AP mode ?
Regards,
El bachir.

Hi,
Simply changing the Mode to Bridge will not help you!! The time u change the mode to bridge, then its called MESH network design.. for this u need to configure the MAC filtering to get this up.. here is the entire info on MESH..
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/technology/mesh/7.0/design/guide/MeshAP_70.html
If you are not planning for mesh, then bridge mode is of no use.. Bridge mode is not like autonomous AP Root non root.. deployment is different..
Lemme know if this answered ur question and please dont forget to rate the usefull posts!!
