Mandatory CLI Config Message on Restored 2504 WLC Configuration

Downloading raw and processed running config from Prime. When I download either to the 2504 I get the below message. I see these configured when viewed in a note viewer. Why is this happening?

Mandatory CLI config interface address management is missing in the downloaded config

Mandatory CLI config interface address virtual is missing in the downloaded config

Mandatory CLI config interface port management is missing in the downloaded config

My intent is to configure a newly replaced WLC after if I minimaly configred the WLC through hyperterm.

Prime 3.0

Replaced 2504 and Prime backup are V8.0.121

Learned that "configure" is not at the beginning of each line. After adding this the config ran successfully.

Hi Rob

It says you have to have management interface configured and your WLC need to sync with a NTP server to get it working.

Configure those with initial script using service port basic connectivity & then download the backup config. See below post

Thank you. Mgt interface and NTP are configured with initial install by field technician. Once we can remote in we tftp the raw configs that were backed up on Prime. The original problem is those backed up configs do not have "configure" at the beginning of each line. Therefore the file would not run properly.

I am trying to complete this task on a 5520 and found that "configure" did not work, however "config" at the beginning did work.

For example;

 config network http-proxy Port 80 
 config network broadcast enable
