Using ETSI standard, it it possible to connect 2 sites (distance=10KM) using bridge+solid dish antenna with throughput between 5Mbps to 11Mbps?
I was told that the information in Cisco website was tested based on US standard, and if the solution is based on ETSI standard, this might not working.
Thanks.

Use the bridge range calculator

Thank you for the info.
However, since ETSI standard is applicable for certain countries, including Malaysia, the Aironet International Power Compliance Chart shows that Malaysia falls under the same group with US.
So, if I were to use use the xls calculation formula (distance + quality/throughput) , should I use ETSI or US standard? Theoritically it might be working.
Thanks.

If you are going to comply with the ETSI limits, select that choice. The succeed/fail math is the same; all that changes are the regulations.
