mDNS Gateway Groups

Hi All,

I currently have a network consisting of a WLC5500 controller and 3850 core switch which has mDNS gateway running and working fine across VLANs.

The customer has now asked if we can deploy this as two sets services - i.e bonjour services from VLAN 10 only available on VLANs 100 and 110; bonjour services from VLAN 20 only available on VLANs 200 and 210.

I have not managed to find anyone actually doing this yet so any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi @PaoloCarbone

I think this is doable but the challenge reside on the Network part. If I got this right, you´ll need to route Multicast traffic among vlans.
