medium power 15.4 on 3rdparty injectors and switches.

Hi

I have a question regarding POE+. We have been using AP2702 for a while now. So far we have been using Cisco POE+ injektors and catalyst 2960S and 2960X switches with POE+ support. But now I want to try cheaper switches and cheaper powerinjectors, like HP 1910-8 POE+.

But I get a warning in the controller saying that the accesspoints is only using medium power 15.4 W.

Anyone has any idea what could be the problem? And how I can fix it?

Thanks.

Input power requirements

AP2700: 44 to 57 VDC
Power supply and power injector: 100 to 240 VAC; 50 to 60 Hz

Power draw

AP2700: 15W

Note: When deployed using a Power over Ethernet (PoE) specification, the power drawn from the power sourcing equipment will be higher by some amount dependent on the length of the interconnecting cable.
