Mixed usage of Aironet 1140 and Aironet 2600 series

Currently we have AIR-LAP1142N-E-K9 in our office building.

This device is end of sales, but our management wants to have better coverage in our conference rooms.

The product replacement advice is Aironet 2600 series.

Will the 2600 series cooperate with the old 1140 series?

Yes, it will work.... just don't enable CleanAir EDRRM in a mixed environment with non CleanAir AP's.  I have clients with the same setup and have no issues.
