Have a customer that has a bunch of AIR-2802I access points and are going to be replacing them with new Catalyst 9166I AP.
Will the new AP's use the same mounting brackets or will the brackets need to be changed out?
thank you

Hello @RICHARD MESSINGER,
Yes, the new Cisco Catalyst 9166I access points use the same mounting brackets as the AIR-2802I access points.
Both models are compatible with the Cisco AIR-AP-BRACKET-1 and AIR-AP-BRACKET-2 universal mounting brackets, which are standard for most enterprise Cisco APs for more than 10 years now.
Even the brand-new Wi-Fi 7 access points continue to use the same brackets so that APs can easily be exchanged.
HTH!
