Hi,

Configure the HIGH availability on the AP (Primary, Secondary and tertiary WLC) make sure you have the connnectivity betwee nthe sites and then if mobility is configured, then make sure the mobility is configured on all the WLC and are UP.

lemme know if this answered your question..

is it possible to delete it from one WLC then keeo it on other

thanks

When a AP joins a controller it remembers the controllers mobility group and saves it in NVRAM. So, no you cant "delete" it from the AP.

Can't you do a delete nvram or write erase on the AP console port to "factory" reset it?

Feeral customer wants to "clean" the WLC information from an AP he's deinstalling.

If it's controller-based IOS, yes you can.  Console to each WAP and enter the following command:

1.  clear capwap private;

2.  clear capwap controller ip address;

3.  clear capwap hostname; and

4.  clear capwap ip address

If it's automous IOS then in enable mode, enter the command "wr default" and hit enter twice.

You can delete the nvram also on an lwapp or capwap ap

debug lwapp console cli
or
debug capwap console cli
erase /all nvram
undebug all
reload
