Moving VLAN Gateway will issue an AP to rejoin?

Hi Experts,

this weeks i want to moving VLAN Gateway from old switch to a new one. the steps is just unplug cable from old switch and plug it to configured new switch. WLC isn't turn off to moving the VLAN Gateway for WLAN.

is there a time or how long AP needs to remain with WLC? if we swap the cable as fast as we can, is the AP will rejoin? or just stay.

any suggestion i would appreciate.

Hi, I am not sure but there is "heartbeat timeout" in configuration which is by default 30 seconds.

But you don´t know state of this timer so I think that there is possibility that AP will rejoin.

Please correct me someone if I am wrong.

Hi, yeah i mean heartbeat timeout, by default is 30s right? so i must change within that time. ive found the document like you said before.
