MR 46 Mounting Query

I am looking for helping figuring out what kind of mount I should get for my MR46 ahead of installation.

We are in the middle of construction and looking at some kind of arm mount so it is not directly mounted against the metal wall.

Has anyone tried mounting an AP to an MA-MNT-ANT-2?

The MA-MNT-ANT-2 is for mounting of antennas not an AP. the best way to mount any AP is horizontally suspended from the ceiling between 9 to 15 ft height from floor and below any obstacles like lighting fixtures architectural elements, ductwork beams etc. If you have open celling's then use conduit down rods to a single or double gang box onto which you surface mount the AP mounting bracket.
