I have been trying to find documentation describing above migration scenario, but have not found anything. Has anybody tried above migration?
In the existing setup I have a MSE 3350 running ver 7.2.103.0 (with CAS 7.2.1.36 and Partner engine 4.4.2.7)). As I have several applications depending on the dataflow from the MSE (eg. Mobile View from Aeroscout) I would like a migration with as little disruption as possible.
I have bought a pair of MSE 3350 to take over, and off course need licensing for the new primary. I am wondering if it is possible to insert the secondary and pair it with the present (after having reconfigured the existing with virtual/health mon IP's) and the shut down the existing and setup a new primary (with an equvivalent license and configuration and name) and pair it with the secondary thus avoiding reassigning maps.
Anybody with experience in this field?
