Hello,
We have AIR-AP1242 ap in our network and an Fortinet router/firewall.
We have no ap switch to manage all our ap.
We want to setup 2 differnt SSIDs in order to have an guest ssid over the DMZ and an internal SSID for LAN.
Is it possible with our materials? I think yes, but I'm not sure about the fact that we don"t manage all AP with a cisco switch..
I've found this link, and I think it's possible to setup our AP.

Thank you,

You can have multiple SSID mapped to different vlan's. The port that the AP is connected to needs to be a trunk port. So it depends on the switch you have. Here are other links that can help.

Our network is :
Wan -> Fortinet router/firewall -> Cisco 2960/2950 Switch ->AP
->Clients computer
->etc
That's why I think that it's possible.
And, we had setup an DMZ with an VLAN30 for our FTP server over a cisco switch & fortinet firewall.
So we can confirm that it's ok, right ?

Yes it will work... Again, the port the ap is connected to needs to be a trunk port.
