I can't seem to cajole an answer to my feature request, whether it is on the roadmap, whether anyone in Cisco is hearing my plea. As critical as wireless is, we really need the ability to configure an AP in what I call Virtual Client mode, to test things like DHCP, client auth on 802.1x, throughput, etc on demand or permantly placed. Has anyone else asked about this, or requested it, and actually been given the courtesy of an answer?
