NAT on a WLC 4400

Hello

This may be a daft question but I have no real experience on Cisco WLC's and I've been dropped in it at work so bare with me.

I am wanting to set up a new WLAN on the controller and give it a private address range 10.x.x.x.  Id like to NAT this on the WLC to a public IP so that I dont need to use anymore public IP's on the wireless clients.  Is NAT something the WLC supports in this way?

NAT is not something the WLC does as it's not a routing device.

On the WLAN (ssid) config, you need to define an interface and that interface on WLC needs a default gateway. This means that the WLC is not the gateway.

From there, you can have NAT configured on your l3 router providing ip addresses to the wireless clients. Totally transparent process to the WLC.

Thanks for that, although I suspected that would be the case I was hoping it would do NAT to get round years of suspect IP implementation
