NCS - lobby ambassador controller list

Under NCS --> Administration --> Users we have created a specific user to enable guest user access. However, when tinkering with the defaults you can select a controller list. The problem is we only see 5 of our controllers (we have 8).

Is this a limitation on lobby ambassador? Or is there a way to add additional controllers here?

When you create the lobby ambassador you specify the defaults.

You specify the WLAN profile ,user role ...etc.

If you choose a WLAN profile, then only WLCs that have that WLAN profile will appear.

Same manner, if you specify user role, only WLCs that has that QoS role configured will appear on the list.
If you configured both, intersection of both (WLCs that have both the profile and the role) will appear.

If you choose the default user role and use any profile then you should see all the WLCs on the list.

Are you logging with full admin user?

Are you using virtual domain? what virtual domain does your current admin belong to?

Make sure that all your WLCs are configured under same virtual domain to be able to configure them.

Logging in via TACACS+ with full admin access. Userid is part of the root domain. All the controllers are configured in the same way bar the IP addresses.

To clarify I'm not trying to configure the controllers, but merely to have the option to select them. They all show up just fine in configure --> controllers and I am able to upload templates to all the controllers. It's just lobby ambassador that doesn't see all controllers in the controller list.

Just noticed that a change had been made on the missing controller. Changed it and it's now picking up the remaining controller.

Great news.
