If I am posting this in the wrong place, my apologies as I am new here. I had someone give me an AIR-AP1142N-A-K9 but it is in lightweight mode. I need to be able to change it to autonomous mode to be able to learn with it but the firmware for this seems to be non-existent. Since it is EOL, Cisco will not send me the firmware. Would anyone happen to have this firmware that you can send me? Thank you for any help.

You need to have one valid contract. It does not have to be related to this Access Point.
But yes, it seems this AP is not available to download anymore.Unfortunatelly I think you need another AP.

Hi
Cisco dont need to send you the firmware, which they dont do as far as i know. What you need to do is download the firmware from cisco site. And this is the link from where you can.
https://software.cisco.com/download/home/284366503/type/284180979/release/15.3.3-JC
People dont provide software around here. Not allowed.

1140 series is well past end of support so Cisco no longer provide software for it:

If you know the name of the file you want then you can search for it.
