I am getting ready for a deploy of redundant Cisco Flex7500 controllers. We will be deploying 3-10 APs at 100 locations doing local switching. My question is what is the difference between Cisco Prime Network Control System and WCS? We need to be able to troubleshoot remote client issues and alert on roque AP's connected to our LAN.
Thanks!

NCS is replacing WCS, so if you are in the market for WCS, then re-think that and just go with NCS. NCS does what WCS does now, but will have more features.

Agree with Scott. NCS is the way to go.
Like WCS, NCS comes in two "flavours": VMware or appliance.
The VMware comes in three sizes: small, medium and large
UNLIKE the WCS, NCS incorporates Cisco LMS/CiscoWorks so you can monitor routers, switches, etc.
By the way, if you have autonomous WAPs, then it's NOT counted in the license and you can "monitor" the autonomous WAPs for FREE!
