NME-AIR-WLC12-K9 supports v7.0.116.0?

Hi

I found that NME-AIR-WLC6-K9 does not support version 5 or after, I have not clear if it is just for the 6 AP model o any NME-AIR-WLC?

Hi Moises,

Sadly, the NME-AIR-WLC6-K9 was announced EoL (end of life) back in February 2008

this is why the newer releases are not supported The replacement was the

NME-AIR-WLC12-K9

I wanted to clarify this issue here a bit further.

The NM-AIR-WLC6 module is not supported after 4.2.209.0. However, the NME modules are. This includes:

NME-AIR-WLC6

NME-AIR-WLC8

NME-AIR-WLC12

NME-AIR-WLC25

So, the real question here is whether you have a NM-AIR-WLC6 or a NME-AIR-WLC6 -- it is crucial that you know as loading newer images on the old regular NM module can cause permanent failure.
