we have a deployment of two WLC4402 (Version 6.0.196) with Mesh APs 1522 and AP1242 (Outdoor and Indoor).
Two Questions:
1) We control the Access-Point with a network management systems (Ping in regular intervals). Some times, APs are not reachable via Ping or Telnet even they are connected to the WLC. How can we trobleshoot this? By now we reboot the AP via WLC to clear this problem.
2) We configured RF Grouping for both 802.11a and 802.11b/g network. 802.11a is only for Mesh Backhaul, no clients.
For 802.11b/g RF Grouping is ok. For 802.11a RF-Grouping is not ok (both WLCs are group leaders without knowing each other).
Hopefully somebody can answer my questions.
