So I guess your fix was to choose a single Country Code (SA) that allows the M Mesh AP along with your E AP's to join?

For country code of "GB" your APs should have the regulatory domain of "E". Your 1550, however, isn't. And this is why the MESH APs radio is down.

Dear Leo,
Thanks for your reply
I have noticed that -M domain for the country Kuwait,Saudi and Qatar.
If I reconfigure the country code as one of this country will it solve my issue?
In that case what about my other APs with -E regulatory domain? will it associate with AP with other code ?

U can not change the regulatery doamin on AP.
U must buy other AP.

May not work.
The re-configure, for example UK, Kuwait, KSA and Qatar in your WLC then only the COMMON CHANNELS/Radio will be enabled.
Any conflicting regulations pertaining to channels and radios will be disabled.

Asper your query, I think your AP have have wrong regulatery domain AIR-CAP1552E-M-K9.
It should be in europe....like : AIR-CAP1552E-E-K9.
You have to buy right AP with correct regulatery domain.

Sandeep,
I already noticed that code -M supports the countries Kuwait , Saudi , Qatar
If I configure the country code as anyof the above , Will the other APs (with domain -E) can asscoiate to the WLC ?
Did anyone experienced this ?

U can set 2 country code on WLC; GB and SA/KU/QA, It should work.
I never tried this but atleast u can try to set and let me know.
But is is normally recommanded to buy country regulated specific AP.
Befor changing the country code , u must disable 802.11a and 802.11b.
Choose Wireless > Country
After changing country code, dont forget to enable 802.11 and 802.11b networks.

No, MESH AP are not allowed to join multiple country code WLC. You should work with whomever provided you that 1552 to get the correct one for GB

I would definitely agree with stepen however if that doesn't work you can try flashing a ios image with the correct reg domain. I belive the restrictions are all in hardware and not software.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Steve is right about the WLC can only have one country code set. If multiple are set, these MESH AP's will not join. Like everyone mentioned, you need to return the MESH AP for a new one for GB. You will not be able to change the MESH AP's country code.

Dear Scott,
My customer has following APs in his network
AIR-LAP1252AG-E-K9
AIR-LAP1142N-E-K9
AIR-LAP1252AG-E-K9
AIR-CAP3502I-E-K9
AIR-CAP3602I-E-K9
&
AIR-CAP1552E-M-K9 which has different regulatory domain.
Here what I can do ? Am I able to use a common country code for this APs ?
Regards
Deva

Hi Deva,
Normal APs can work with multiple country code but this is the problem with MESH AP:
You need to have another WLC to support Mesh AP.
Running multiple country codes in a single WLC is a bad idea(Not recommanded). Only common channels will be allowed. Power will also be curtailed to the most common one. The best thing is to get another WLC and group them by using the same regulatory domain
