How do we change the password that was configured intially on the controller to enable communication between NCS and controller itself?

Hi,
this depends on what is the snmp version you are using.
you have to check the community string configured. if using snmp v2 for example.
please check this part of the cofnig guide:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/controller/7.0/configuration/guide/c70ccfg.html#wp1117288
please don't forget to mark the question as answered if it helped you.

Hi,
thanks Mohammad. I'm new to Cisco wireless so could be that I'm missing something obvious.
Had a look at the link but it does not mention anything about how to change the "password" that is configured on the the controller which is used when talking to NCS.I think this is a parameter in addtion to the SNMP coummunity strings.
regards,
J
