Pattern difference between an AP and an antenna ?

Hi all,

I would like to know the difference between the pattern of an AP and a pattern of an antenna.

I explain : on the 3802 pattern for example, the graduation (0, -5, -10, 15) is starting on the right of the pattern, but on an antenna pattern (Like 2535 model), it starts on the top. (see the screenshots attached)

Why ?

The attenuation markers are aligned with 0 degrees on the images.

Which begs the question, why is 0 degrees at 12 o'clock on one and 3 0'clock on the other? :)
