Peer-Peer blocking broadcast traffic?

Hi,

I am using a 16000 client IP address subnet for one SSID. I want to make sure ARP and any broadcasts between the clients are disabled and only arp requests for gateway are working. Does setting P2P blocking action to "Drop" achieve this?

Regards,

Madhan kumar G

Hi

By default WLC does not forward any broadcast. (WLC GUI "Controller -> General ->Broadcast Forwarding" set to disabled by default).

So any wireless client broadcast or any wired side broadcast will not forwarded to any other clients by WLC.

P2P blocking is for unicast traffic

What type of WLC model that you have ?
