Hello! Is it possible to create another AP-manager interface on WLC2504 mapped to the same physical port as management interface which is disabled from AP-management and placed to another subnet and VLAN? When i tried this configuration it seems like AP isnt gettting join responce from the controller and i could ping ap-manager interface from LAP but can`t ping LAP from WLC

You need to keep the AP manager set on the management interface. This is the preferred way to setup the 2504 and other newer model WLC's. The AP's need to communicate to the management interface and then it will communicate to the ap manager.

HI,
You do not need to configure an AP Manager interface. By default the ap manager is tied to the management interface and that's how it should be.
Connect WLC to trunk port and allow only required vlans.

You can't. The AP's need to also communicate to the WLC management. Local or FlexConnect is the same...

Yes, i know about it, but what if i want to isolate access point management network from WLC management interface? I`am planning also to use hreap AP at remote offices. As i understand now there is the only way to combine all management traffic in one VLAN?
