Hi, i got this error when im trying to extract a tar file, someone know this message?

In TFTP server, if you set your working directory is IOS, you just need to run the command
ap: tar -xtract tftp://192.168.0.200/c1240-k9w7-tar.124-10b.JA.tar flash:
Without the path ios because it is set to the working directory ios.

Have you tried to download the firmware again. File might be corrupted. I'm guessing that your TFTP is working and your FW is off.

Also make sure that the file extension is not hidden .

are you able to ping the AP from the TFTP server?
Also can u try to check if there is any other application using the TFTP port on your server ?
netstat -a -no
You can try to have TFTP installed on another machine and see how it goes

You have other entries that don't need to be there. I use 3cdeamon for my tftp.... look at this doc:

im using 3cdaemon, but it is no working i have attached an image when the tftp cannot open the file.

Normally If you want to mention the file name directly in the URL you have to make sure that it has been added to the root directory defined on your TFTP server.
