Polling parameters in Cisco Prime Infrastructure

Can anyone explain me about the Polling parameters in Monitoring policy of the Cisco Prime Infrastructure ? Is it like built in Cisco Prime or we will need to install it ?

All built in. Once you install Cisco Prime Infrastructure & add devices using SNMP, you are good with it.
