Hi,
Is it possible to use port 80 for web authentication instead of port 443?

Sure... on the later code versions you can set the WebAuth to use either http or https by disabling WebAuth SecureWeb (http) or enabling it for https.
Thanks,
Scott

Is this possible on Wism1 units also?

No it's not since the WiSM 1 can only go up to v7.0.x. You would need to disable https for management if you want to disable https for WebAuth. That is the only workaround for the older code versions.

I am looking for the same feature but for the NGWC controllers based on IOS XE (3850/5760) and I am not able to find it.
Does anyone know if the same thing can be done on these types of new controllers?

I don't believe there is a setting on the IOS XE for that.
