Port Settings When Plugging Wireless Controller into Switch

The port on my switch that I have the wireless controller plugged into, does that port need to be setup for trunking?

Hi Gulf,
It depends ...
1) What type of controller do you have ?
A.If you have a WiSM then you can only do LAG on the controllers which means you would need to truck / etherchannel in the swicthes
B. If you have controllers (210x,440x,5508) then you can either LAG or not lag. Which means you can trunk with or without etherchannels.
your best option is to LAG with etherchannels.
