We are using autonomous APs for customer site surveys and there is a thing that I never understood completely about the power settings and EIRP.
My question is: What is the EIRP of the AP/antenna when I configure the interface Dot11Radio0 for power local 17 (which is max. in Europe)?
According to the data sheet of the AP the antenna has a gain of 4 dBi. Is this already included in the 17 dBm that I configure on the interface?
I would say that 4 dBi can make a difference in a site survey... Therefore it would be nice to get this cleared.
