powercycle AP thats powered via injector

AP: 3502,1141,1252

Injector: air-pwrinj4

WLC: wisms and 5508's 7.0.98.0

WCS

Switches - 3750 (non-poe+)

Trying to save my tech's time and gasoline (driving to remote sites) - Sometimes APs hang up, become unreachable - only way to get the AP working again is to power-cycle it.  Simply shutting the switchport does not remove power between the injector and AP.  Is there a way to power-cycle the injector remotely?

Hi,

I don't think there's a way to accomplish what you're after.

With respect to the ap's getting hung, you might consider upgrading your controller's code to 7.0.98.218 or 7.0.116.0.

I don't know of any bugs off of the top of my head that could be causing the ap hangs, but it would probably be worth your time to upgrade (7.0.98.0 was the first release of 7.0 code).

It might also be helpful to have one of your techs console into one of the hung ap's to get a better idea of what's going on.
