problem in authentication

hi,

i have 1200 Ap, and i use ACS 3.3 for EAP authentication (LEAP) and also for MAC Authentication, I use another ACS server as backup for the primary one , and on each AP i define the two ACS (primary , backup) and i configured the priority between them as to use the primary and then the backup for EAP and MAC authentication , my point is when the primary is down the AP doesnt use the backup ACS for Authentication how can i solve this problem.

Is the backup server also on the same subnet as the primary server and the AP? If not put the backup server also in the same subnet as that of the primary server. And set the priorities correctly. The primary server should have a higher priority than the backupserver but dont configure the same priority on both the servers.
