question regarding WLC 8540 AP config

Hi,

I was investigating wifi issue forthe users , they cant get dhcp and noticed some discrepancy in the config , I am not sure if this can cause. Can you help with expert review? So, Wireless/AP/General/IP config dhcp shows 10.2.0.1, mac address of the AP in the switch shows on vlan 999 and SVI 999 on that switch doesnt have this dhcp ip but has different . I am not sure which dhcp server AP would use in this case ... Deployment is centralized.

Depends on the setup, AP can be any IP adress if you doing CAPWAP - make sure you will not use same VLAN which is bind to SSID WLAN ?

what vlan you used for WLAN ?

you can also very the config using config analyzer.

Go to the default gateway of VLAN 999 and post the complete output to the command "sh run interface vlan 999".
