Hi All
I would like to know your opinion about following :
After upgrading software of WISM1 from 5.2.157 to 7.0.235.
The RRM / TCP value I have naturally adjusted for best possible radio field
I was just surprised, that I had to change the TPC Power Threshold value to -60 dbm, to get to the same radio field before the software update.
I am curios if value --60dBm can be problem ( hot radio field ). Maybe you know something about some problem with the "Power Level Assignment " after software update,
Thank you for updates

I never go that hot. I have been fine with the default -70. Your basically only allowing the WLC to reduce power if an AP hears a third AP at -60.

Do you think it can be problem in futrue?
Since range is from -80 to 50 it should be ok , correct

Well, like I said, I don't set it that hot. The third ap has to be heard at -60 in order for the algorithm to happen. All I can say is to monitor the channel and if they look fine to you , then setting that is fine. The range is just stating that these are the values you can use, doesn't mean its okay. You just have to see. With -60, you probobly will not be seeing too many changes.
Thanks,
Scott
