Radius attribute WLC and Group of vlan

llavilla

Hi,

With a Radius server (like ISE) we can push the vlan ID to WLC for move device to a specific vlan with attribute "Tunnel-Private-Group-ID" if option "Allow AAA Override" is checked.
In WLC we can create a group of vlan but anyone know if it's possible to push this by attribute like the vlan ?

Thank you

Regards,

Laurent

Yes, we do this a lot, but the VLAN needs to exist on the WLC if centrally switched

Thanks for your answer, yes a vlan it's easy to reply by the radius attribute this but a group vlan which contains few vlan ?

No because it's not a vlan you want to push, it's an interface group, the attribute you're wanting to push is a name not a VLAN id. You may be able to push it with the Airespace-Interface-Name but I'm not sure as I've never needed to use this.

I tested this but it's not a group of vlan but just an interface name of the vlan , I continue to search if more possibility .
