Hi guys,
we are planning to use the 6Ghz band on our brandnew CW9166 APs and need to define 4 different RF profiles for various environments: for standard office / high density areas / outdoor / IoT and LAB
As our experience with WiFi6E (6Ghz) is still limited we wonder if anyone has already invested time into this subject ? For example with 5 Ghz we disabled 6 + 9 Mbit/s, have 12 and 36 Mbit/s set to mandatory (the higher data rate being used for Multicast traffic) and the rest to supported for our office environment. And for HD areas with start with 24 Mbit/s as mandatory. Do the same values make sense for 6 Ghz ?
The same question applies to other RF profile-specific settings such as max. or min. power levels in RRM etc..
Thanks very much,
Thorsten

Do not be hasty.
6 Ghz has plenty of regulatory compliance needed to be fully functional. For a start, the WLC needs to be on 17.12.X and some other components, like AFC, are not yet ready.
