I am using 802.11a/b/g cards and AP1200 v12.2(15)JA. I have have PEAP enabled.I seem to have issues roaming from one access point to the other. My signal can go to poor even when i am sitting just below a 2nd access point. Then eventually it will associate with the 2nd AP. Any idea how to around this problem? With 350 cards you could specify on the ACU the condtions for roaming e.g 50% signal quality and it appears there is no such configuration on these a/b/g cards.

Thanks

QH

HI

Many people are having issues romaing with these cards.

But one thing I have found is that there is no way that you will be able to roam successfully with all of the a, b and g standards enabled at the same time. Try just having a and b turned on. I found that definitely improves things. Then try using Wireless Domain Services (WDS), which has an in-built Fast Secure Roaming feature. FSR is not perfect, but it can have some positive effects, if one can get it to work correctly and reliably!!!!
