I currently have 3 or 4 1200 APs showing a mac address of 00:00:00:00:00:00 ...log states a possible rogue. There is no data packets transfering. The AP states it is unauthenticated. Firmware is VXWorks 12.04.
I have used Airmagnet to see if I could detect anything in our medical building. Nothing. I have recently upgraded two 1200 aps with the G card. In order to run G, I had to upgrade to Cisco IOS firmware. Would it be possible for one AP (VXworks) to have a conflict with another 1200 AP (Cisco IOS)?
I do not get this error with Cisco IOS AP.

Thank you for the response. I am not using WLSE however... would this still be a problem with VXWorks firmware?

It is an issue with the AP firmware itself. See CSCef25465
