Rogue/aWIPS deployment for C9130AXI-EWC-K

Hi, I would like to ask how is the Rogue/aWIPS features arebeing deploy and done using C9130AXI-EWC-K. Since it can run on triple radio (one 2.4Ghz and dual 5Ghz radio), to enable the monitoring/scanning of Rogue AP will it turn off the 2.4Ghz and use it for scanning/monitoring?

1. @sharpshooter94 You can use the ap as monitor mode but then ap does not handle data between client and controller.

I would like the AP to be use as local mode and at the same time run the scanning for the rogue devices. Can the scanning of rogue AP be use on radio 0 (2.4ghz)?

Scanning happens anyways.  If your ap has been up and online, you should already see "Rouge" ap's without having to tinker with additional setting. If you scan on 2.4GHz only, then you know that that radio will only scan on that band, not others.  Start looking at various docs and blogs in regards to how aWIPS work, so you have a better idea if that is something you need to play around with.
