I try to setup this kind of installation but nothing

The non root bridge can't associate to a wireless client or to another AP but only to the root bridge.

In Cisco web site I read that this setup seem to be possible.

How ???

Regards,

Salvatore

Hello Salvatore,

The non root behavior is normal and will only associate to the root bridge. In the BR1310s you can use a mode called 'Root AP' when the unit will be the root for any non root bridges and also act like an AP and accept associations from other devices, like wireless end users, other APs.

this would be like the example in Figure 6-2 :

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Aaron
