Sample IP File

I am trying to use the upgrade tool to upgrade few AP's from Autonomous to Light Weight.  Can some one please give me an example of how the IP File should be ?

Mohammad,

     The file needs to conatin the following:

–IP address

–Username

–Password

–Enable password (optional)

so it would be

192.168.15.2,Cisco,Cisco

This needs to be done with a local username/password on the AP, and not TACACS/RADIUS credentials.

Thank you just tried that and it worked but I get the following error:

10.230.129.107      FAILED       AP is not supported by the Upgrade Tool

10.230.129.106      FAILED       AP is not supported by the Upgrade Tool

10.230.129.105      FAILED       AP is not supported by the Upgrade Tool

10.230.129.103      FAILED       AP is not supported by the Upgrade Tool

10.230.129.186      FAILED       AP is not supported by the Upgrade Tool

10.230.129.100      FAILED       AP is not supported by the Upgrade Tool

10.230.129.199      FAILED       AP is not supported by the Upgrade Tool

10.230.129.197      FAILED       AP is not supported by the Upgrade Tool

10.230.129.108      FAILED       AP is not supported by the Upgrade Tool

I'm assuming 1142 AP's are not supported?

Correct, the 1142 is not a supported AP for the converstion tool.

To convert an 1142 from IOS to CUWN use the following command:

archive download-sw /overwrite /reload tftp: //location/image-name
