Hi, i have WLC running IOS version 6 and bunch of AP (1142N, IOS 12.4(21a)JA) that i would like to shutdown at certain time. Eg. would like to have AP up at 6am and shut down at 7pm. Can this be done on WLC or on the switch where APs are connected to (btw, the switch with APs have poe available)?
Thanks

You can get this done via two ways:
1. WCS has an option to schedule the shutdown of the radios; and
2. If your switch is a PoE switch and running the new 12.2(50)SE or higher IOS, you can configure EnergyWise.
Configuring Cisco EnergyWise
Hope this helps.

Hi Dragan,
You need to have WCS and WLC v 6.0. Go to configure APs then tick the ones you want to schedule and choose 'Schedule Radio Tasks' from the drop down menu.
Hope this helps

Just found another way using Embedded Event Manager (EEM).
