Hi all,
We have 2 WiSM2 running. Now I'd like to add some Accesspoints as OfficeExtend. As the WiSMs are in our internal network and not in the DMZ, so I thought easiest would be to create a new interface on the WiSM with a DMZ-IP which would be reachable from outside (with static NAT).
Does anyone know if this would work?
Thanks a lot
kind regards
Thomas

No... It's required to use the management IP address because that is the interface in which you have to specify the NAT address.

Too bad, as his would make it much easier to separate the local network from the "remote accespoint network".
Thanks for your answer
