Software versions with thin APs

I'd appreciate an explanation of all the software version reported by the WiSM,

Below are all I can find.

It involves a WiSM with 1131AG AP (converted from autonomous to LWAPP).

S/W Version ............. 4.0.179.8 (obvious)

Boot Version ............ 12.3.7.1

Mini IOS Version ......... 3.0.51.0

IOS Version.............. 12.3(11)JA

When is each piece of software relevant?

Mark,

The boot version has to do with what IOS is loaded initially to boot the AP.

The Mini IOS Version, is an LWAPP version that is initially loaded to start that communication, I think.

The IOS Version, is the currently running version of code on the AP that it has received from the controller.
