Spectralink One-Way Audio over 9800 WLC

I am currently getting one-way audio (inbound) with a Spectralink 8440. Outbound is not working. Both QoS ingress / egress is set to platinum/platinum-up. I validated the client has this in their QoS.

I try in my lab over a wireless Meraki network and it works just fine. But my flex AP over the Meraki is not. Anyone have suggestions

**Update**
The flex AP is traversing a Meraki VPN. I tested an SSID off the Meraki and the same issue so this could be firewall. Also the phone is an Spectralink 8440. 9800-40 WLC on 17.3.4c ESW1 with a 9120AXI.

I would start with a conditional debugging client mac address & see if it gives any helpful hints.

One-way audio is typically related to power mismatch between client & AP as well. Check that aspect as well.
I would recommend, check your 9800 configuration using WLC Config Analyzer tool given below

I'll try the debug but I'm 3 feet away from the AP to the device. AP is at its lowest transmit power.

What are the model of the APs and what firmware is the WLC on?

Your title says "9800 WLC" but the text says "But my flex AP over the Meraki is not" which doesn't make sense!
Should that have been "But my flex AP over the 9800 is not"?
Or you're using a Cisco AP with local switching to drop the traffic onto a Meraki switch or MX?
Please clarify topology and kit the traffic is traversing?
Like Leo said some some detail on AP model and IOS-XE code version would be useful?

Well it's kind of difficult to give an informed answer without all the facts and understanding the topology.

Sounds like you've more or less eliminated the 9800 now anyway but if you think it might still be a problem then you want to consider moving to 17.3.5a+SMU or 17.6.3 depending on what other APs you have (wave 1 APs mean staying on 17.3)
