hi,
i have a problem with ssc authentication of the aps.
I have LWAPP APs 1242AG and a 4404 Wlan Controller.
When i choose "Security" -> "AP Policies" and there i apply the "Accept Self Signed Certificate", all aps will connect without problems.
but i don't have configured any AP under the "AP Authorization List".
what i have to do, to deny the access for unregistered APs.
thx

Are you sure that your 1242's are using SSC and not MIC? If MIC, you can't really stop them from joining a controller. However, if you have WCS, you cam monitor unassigned access point and disable unauthorized APs.
If SSC, it will not join controller without the SSC added to the controller.

If the access point doesnt have any certificate configured on the controller it will automatically reject APs. Or you can manually reject the access points using Mac addresses.
